What are the parameters that needs to be considered before finalizing the installation type? These are all the usual questions popping up in everybody’s mind. Let us brief you on the various types of LPG installation:

Parameter No.1: Fuel Consumption

The fuel consumption depends on  the application, type of processes, fuel flow rate and the requisite temperature requirement, batch process etc. If the application does not require high pressure pumping of LPG, VOT installation can be considered. The vapourisation happens due to natural vapourisation in VOT cylinders. In LOT cylinders the vapourisation is forced by an external vapouriser, this is required where the application demands higher volume in a short time. That is how fuel consumption influences the LPG installation types.

Parameter No.2: Installation Land Size

Availability of land for installation also affects the type of installation people choose. LPG installation typically requires specific safety distances and other important spaces to be maintained in the installation premises. Hence, Installation Land size also matters. A key factor is the location of the installation because there are some parameters like no source of naked flame or culverts should not be there for some distance etc.

Parameter No. 3: Distance from the Plant

This is another important parameter, as distance from the plant will determine the frequency by which LPG supply happens. An installation with more capacity entails the frequency to be less thereby reducing the delivery lead-time. So manufacturing industries located at a distance can definitely utilize larger capacity installation and vice-versa.
